Drone Racing is the newest most intense sport that bridges the gap from virtual to reality. You can race your friends and experience the world like never before. RotorX Racing is asking for your help on Indiegogo to develop the ultimate racing drone, the RX122 Atom, a first person view (FPV) micro-racing drone. This 122mm size quadrocopter lets you experience flight as if you were sitting in the cockpit of your very own drone. You see what your drone sees, controlling your drone with manual control. The Atom is equipped with an industry leading FPV system, meaning you pilot the Atom via a crystal clear, realtime video feed, with no latency over a distance of up to 2km (1.25 miles).

The Atom can speed up to 80 mph (129kmph) and is designed for maximum functionality and performance. It weighs less than 5 ounces, well under 250 grams, so no FAA registration is necessary. The Atom is reliable, resilient, safe and affordable. You can crash it over and over and over again due to it's durable and lightweight carbon fiber construction. All components are easily repairable, customizable and readily available. You can also customize your Atom or build it yourself.

The RotorX Atom is currently on track to reach its funding goal of $85k on Indiegogo. Pledge $319 and you will receive your own Atom with the DIY kit or $500 for the out of the box and ready-to-fly Atom. Pledge $250 more and you are ready for the ultimate out of body experience with the additional FPV Goggles.
